Security guards perform work, for remuneration, that consists primarily of guarding or patrolling for the purpose of protecting

The "S/G" may work a rotating shift schedule, extended overtime, on a full or part-time basis, at construction sites, hotels, malls, retail stores, armored car services, body-guarding, airport screening agents or banks. Extensive patrolling, sitting, writing notebooks and reports, providing witness testimony, taking statements, conducting lawful arrests, customer service, access control, ID checking, emergency/disaster/alarm response, crowd control, surveillance or any combination of these tasks are required depending on the site worked.
