**General Course Duration(s) 

  • CPR C/AED & CPR HCP/AED                   9AM – 3PM Day 1 Only
  • Emergency First Aid & CPR (C or HCP)   9AM – 5PM Day 1 Only
  • Standard First Aid & CPR (C or HCP)      9AM – 5PM 2 Consecutive Days (eg. you are booked for the 5th, you will also attend the 6th)

*If applicable, CCEC will include in course fee following 3 life saving tools at no extra cost:  

  • - 1 x POCKET MASK & GLOVES
  • - 1 x CPR BARRIER MASK KEYCHAIN
  • - 1 x FIRST AID KIT

Canadian Red Cross Standard First Aid & CPR Course

This course includes First Aid & CPR training, is recognized by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and meets Ontario Health & Safety (OHS) regulations for Basic First Aid. All participants will receive the Canadian Red Cross First Aid & CPR Manual and Certification card. 

Comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for Standard First Aid and CPR. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR, and AED. 


Who should attend

- Any employee can attend this course. No prerequisite or pre-course assignment is required.
- Any person who wants more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home.

New Certification
14-16 Hours. 3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A, C, and AED


Recertification
6–9 hours; includes CPR Level A, C, or HCP and AED; adheres to local legislation
