Eligibility
To be eligible, you must
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have post-secondary education from outside Canada
- Have work experience in your occupation outside Canada
- Have English language proficiency
And one of the following
- Be physically in Canada with a legal permanent or temporary status (such as visitor, or a foreign national with a valid study or work permit)
- If you are outside Canada, you can apply for a short study visa. No PAL required.
International Applicants
A Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) is not required to study in these programs. The admission requirements and process for bridge training programs differ from vocational diploma programs. See each program page for details.
"These programs do not require approval under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005". Completing a bridge training program does not by itself qualify a graduate for registration with a regulatory body or for a licence in any province or territory.
