Can-College's English as a Second Language program can help students from around the world strengthen their English skills for both academic and career preparation. Our ESL program provides students with the best opportunity to learn English by interacting with Canadians and Canadian culture in a region that specializes in welcoming international visitors.

Can-College’s English for Academic Preparation (EAP) program offers five levels of English language skill development, that welcome various levels of English proficiency. Each level is 2-3 weeks long. The program covers reading, writing, listening, speaking and grammar skills. The comprehensive language program at Can-College is designed for secondary school (high school) graduates, and for English as a second language (ESL) learners as the program focuses on preparing students for English language post-secondary studies and career advancement.

Successful completion of the advanced level of the EAP program with a 60% average enables you to enter undergraduate programs at Can-College with no additional proficiency tests needed.

The EAP program is taught at our Vaughan Campus, less than an hour away from downtown Toronto via public transport. Our campus is located in a prime area that is close to restaurants, shops, and affordable residential opportunities if needed.

  • Applicants applying for academic programs that have also applied to a Can-College English language program are required to submit all relevant documents except proof of language proficiency.
  • Can-College reserves the right to determine conditional admission eligibility based on study permit application requirements, date of application and program capacity.
